Bonks and Booboos

And that's an understatement!

Today marks the first two major head injuries of many I'm sure. It was incredibly tragic for everyone! We went to Sac State this evening to walk around the campus. Larkin's favorite game right now is being chased. I was chasing her and she bit it HARD! Forehead meet pavement, pavement meet forehead ... Hello goose egg.

And if that isn't enough to make your stomach flip and lurch, after we got home and gave her a bath she was running around in the kitchen and face planted right into the corner of the wall! The girl just can't catch a break!

One sad, banged up baby!

Moral of the story: Walking feet are happy feet, It's all fun and games ... and all that

  1. That first bonk-a-head, scrape-a-knee, (whatever the ouchie may be) experience is tragic! Poor thing!

  2. Oh no! Now you'll start getting "the look" from people in the stores and stuff, wondering what kind of parent you are. Poor Larkin - the bumps and scrape phase doesn't sound fun. Hugs!

  3. Seriously, Coast is still going through that. Somehow he manages to ALWAYS hit his head in the same spot over, and over, and over again, multiple times a day. Goose egg city! Poor little Larkin, she is still just as beautiful as ever with the bumps, bruses, and scrapes...
PS. Nate really thinks Larkin is the most beautiful girl (we both do), and coming from him, he means it....

  4. Oh, so sad for a little girl to have such an bung. Wish we could cheer that sad little face with a big hug and kiss.

Larkin is such a pretty girl and I wish we could see her more often.

    Love you guys, Grandma
